These gorgeous New Zealand Sheepskin slippers are made the traditional way with the fleece on the outside and the skin on the inside. These make the warmest of sheepskin slippers, since you achieve more warmth if the fleece is on the outside.
Sheepskin acts as a insulator. When you have the skin on the inside there is generally more air space around the foot, this air is warmed by the body and trapped inside by the skin. The wool on the outside reduces the escape of the warmed air through the skin and stops the cold air from the outside going in through the skin.
The slippers are ideal for wearing around the house and snuggling up on the sofa. They have a soft suede sole. Inside, the underside of your foot rests on sheepskin fleece, with foam rubber under that for extra comfort.
