These gorgeous New Zealand Sheepskin slippers are made the traditional way with the fleece on the outside and the skin on the inside. These make the warmest of sheepskin slippers, since you achieve more warmth if the fleece is on the outside.
Sheepskin acts as a insulator. When you have the skin on the inside there is generally more air space around the foot, this air is warmed by the body and trapped inside by the skin. The wool on the outside reduces the escape of the warmed air through the skin and stops the cold air from the outside going in through the skin.

Love these slippers
Bought these when in New Zealand and my son loved them. He wore them out had to buy another pair for him.
No communication regarding process of order and an expected delivery date until prompted after a week of waiting. Delivery of slippers was a further 2 weeks later, unfortunately one week too late to take them with me as a present on my travels overseas. Slippers look cosy and comfortable though

I purchased a pair of these 30 years ago on a trip to NZ and Australia and loved them - best ever skippers. It only occurred to me to check to see if I could get them online. Much to my surprise I did. Also got a gray pair for my husband and he loves them too. Great Christmas presents. Can't say enough about how comfortable and warm they are.
