Why Canadian Greenstone, when we are in New Zealand, home of pounamu?
It comes down to availability.  Our customers want greenstone rings and bangles, but cannot afford hundreds and thousands of dollars for a very limited supply available in NZ greenstone. And there are a few other jewellery items that have been requested, that we have only been able to find in Canadian greenstone.
Canadian greenstone is nephrite jade, just like NZ greenstone.  Because of the different minerals that infuse the greenstone in the different countries, there is some variation in colour, but not a great deal.
