This beautiful Red Short Ceremonial Māori Korowai is perfect for graduations or other ceremonies where it provides the look of a korowai without the full length.
The korowai, or kahu huruhuru to be exact, is made by a Māori lady of Ngati Porou descent. It has a knitted taniko top, with red coque feathers below. (If you want different coloured feathers, let us know. You can choose different coloured feathers here.)
The taniko has a patiki design, which spiritually means abundance, prosperity, and care of others.
The red korowai measures approximately 1m wide, and 20cm (8") deep. It is lined.
