This Pacific Rimu Māori Sculptural Koru Wooden Sculpture or Trophy is a lovely piece to give, whether for a personal gift or for a business presentation.
The cutout Koru is symbolic of peace, tranquility, new beginnings and personal change. Carved from Pacific Rimu (podocarp), the design is further enhanced with inlaid pieces of paua shell, New Zealand's native abalone, found only in NZ waters.
The pear shaped piece is reminiscent of a rugby ball, making it a great piece to give as a rugby trophy. Or use it as a school or other sports trophy. Also great to give as a 21st or other birthday gift.
There are 2 sizes available:
Size Large measures approximately 31cm (12") high (including base)
Size Small measures approximately 25.5cm (10 1/8") high
Engraving is available, which turns it from a lovely ornament into a more meaningful piece. Options are: Engraved gold plaque, laser engraving into the wood, or paua engraving into the wood.
Engraved Plaque: Up to 7 words on the small trophy; up to 10 words on the large.
Laser Engraving into the wood base is available on both sizes of trophy: also up to 7 words on the Small size, and up to 10 words on the Large.
Paua engraving is also available on the large trophy, but up to 12 Characters only.
Please note that engraved trophies cannot be returned, except in the unlikely event of us getting the engraving wrong.
ENGRAVING: We are happy to get the stand engraved for you as an optional extra, so you can mark the occasion.
Steps:
a) Choose your words or characters.
b) Select the Engraved option in the Option box.
c) Enter your words in the Engraving Wording box. (If you can't see the Engraving Wording box, it means you haven't selected the Engraved option yet).
Allow approximately 3-4 days for engraving to be done.
There is also the option of purchasing the trophy nestled in a deluxe black gift box - perfect as a presentation gift.

Very happy when it arrived however the bottom part was loose and when we tightened it up it split the wood slightly at the bottom and then wouldn’t screw up my husband fixed it with some glue but my son loved it when we gave it to him
