This Genuine NZ Greenstone Koru Double Heart Necklace is the perfect symbol of love.
The necklace is carved in a Māori koru manawa shape, and then there is a smaller koru heart carved within it.
So it would be a great gift to signify the love between two people.
And a fabulous gift to mark the birth of a child, and the love between the parent and child.
Within the heart are four koru, the beautifully curving sides of the heart. The Māori Koru represents the unfurling new fern shoot, and signifies peace, tranquility, new beginnings, and positive change. Perfect within a heart shape.
The heart necklace is carved in New Zealand from pounamu, greenstone sourced from the Hokitika region of New Zealand.
The heart measures approximately 3.8cm x 3.8cm (1 1/2" x 1 1/2"), and hangs from a long black adjustable cord.

Grand child loved it
I think that receiving one of these is such an honour and privilege and that how it’s presented means a lot. I think the way it’s packaged makes it feel cheap and takes away from the special experience. When I was gifted my first one which bought from another place, it was in a little box and my second came in a flax bag. When I received this one it looked like I bought it from a cheap souvenir shop at an airport, especially with the label 🏷️ attached to it, Which was disappointing because I was gifting it to my wife. I ended up finding a box myself. The other thing is the string was too long so we adjusted it but it wouldn’t stay and would move around through out the day. The part tied to the heart kept sliding around the koru so in the end I had to just take it off and re-tie it altogether. Don’t get me wrong my wife loves the piece itself but I’d love for others to have the experience I did when I was gifted mine by treating it like the treasure it is.
