Maori Long Bone Double Manaia Toki Necklace

This long beef bone Maori Toki Necklace is beautifully carved with two Manaia.  Such a lot of carving in one toki!

The carving is approximately 14cm (5 1/2") long, and hangs from a long plaited cord with adjustable knots, so you can wear it where you want on your chest.

The Maori Toki design, symbol of the adze implement, spiritually represents power, wisdom and authority.  

The Maori Manaia is a spiritual guardian, like a guardian angel, to ward off danger and protect against intruders. It acts as a provider and protector over the sky, earth and sea.

This Toki has two Manaia carved into it.
