Self Adhesive NZ Paua Shell Laminate

This Self Adhesive NZ Paua Shell Laminate can be used for crafts, decorating books, inlaying into wood, and more.  And most importantly, it is made from real paua shell.

Shell sheets are produced in 4 stages.  First, each shell is cut into curved strips, 15mm to 20mm wide. The thickness of the strip varies from 1 to 3 mm.  Second, several flat shell "feathers" are sliced, reaching 0.1-0.2mm in thickness.  And in stage 3,  the feathers are manually arranged into a regular pattern.  And finally, all these feathers are bonded together and run through a press, to form a sheet between 0.2 and 0.4mm thick.

The paua laminate has a peel and stick acid free backing for ease of use.

Small - 100mm x 100mm x 0.3mm
Large - 100mm x 200mm x 0.3mm
