The patu can be laser engraved, and the stand can have an engraved gold or black plaque.
And there is a thin layer of MDF on the back, which means you could write your own heartfelt words there.
But most important - it's stunning!
The patu measures approximately 40cm (15 3/4") long, so yes, it is a good length.
Inside its box is the story behind the patu - its meaning and significance, plus information about the Rimu and paua shell.
There are also care instructions inside.
ENGRAVING
Engraving is an optional extra. Choose from:
Laser engraved name on patu. Plus birthdate if required.
Engraved plaque on base - either gold plaque or black plaque. Up to 10 words only.
NB: 1) Engraved items cannot be returned, apart from the unlikely event that we get the engraving wrong. 2) Choose your stand engraving words carefully - the more you use, the smaller the font size needs to be. And the limit is 10 words. 3) Allow 2-3 days for engraving to be done. 4) To arrange engraving, choose one of the engraved options. Then enter your wording in the box that opens up. If engraving both patu and stand, make sure to tell us what you want and where.
