This fabulous Maori Tiki Good Luck Trophy is a great trophy for all sorts of prizegivings as well as a birthday gift. Sports teams, academic awards, even gifts for colleagues leaving a business or school.
The Maori Tiki represents the first born man, created by Tane, the god of Forests and Men. It is believed to be a symbol of good luck, as well as a fertility symbol.
In this contemporary representation of a tiki, the tilted head symbolises clear thinking, the hands indicate strength, the mouth means communication, and the loins symbolise fertility.
The Maori Tiki Trophy stands approximately 25cm (10") tall. The base measures approximately 12cm x 6cm (4 3/4" x 2 3/8"). It is crafted from plantation grown gaboon hardwood and medium density fibreboard, and embellished with paua shell. It comes to you in an attractive box, ready to give or receive.
Very proudly made in New Zealand.
If you would like an engraved metal plaque attached to the trophy, enter up to 5 words you would like engraved in the box that comes up when you select the engraved option. Please note that the engraved trophy cannot be returned, the only exception being if we have got the engraving wrong. Allow 3-4 days for engraving to be done.
