This Kotare Kingfisher Wood Slice Inspired Wall Art is a lovely small piece of New Zealand art and design.

What looks like a wood slice is actually a laser cut piece of MDF (medium density fibreboard), printed with the beautiful Kingfisher image.

The slice measures approximately 15.5cm x 14.5cm x 0.4cm (6 1/8" x 5 3/4" x 1/4") and comes ready to hang.

Expertly designed and made in New Zealand, it is a lovely gift for the bird lover, especially those who love our beautiful kingfisher. 

The kingfisher has a greeny-blue back, yellowish underside, and a big black bill. They are often seen in residential neighbourhoods when rain is due, so they are our traditional sign that rain is on its way.
