Each pounamu necklace has an inner Koru, the Maori symbol for peace, tranquility, new beginnings, and positive change. When you place the two necklaces side by side, the two Koru form a heart shape, the universal symbol of love.
Each necklace is beautiful on its own, with fabulous carving as well as beautiful binding at the top. The neck cord has adjustable knots, so you can place the necklace where you want on your chest. They measure approximately 6.5cm (2 1/2") long, so a good size.
