This genuine NZ Greenstone Maori Manaia Necklace will appeal those who like their manaia without any contrasting pieces (like paua).  This one is carved entirely from pounamu.

Pounamu is New Zealand's native greenstone, found only on the west coast of the South Island, and considered by Maori to be a taonga (treasure).

The Manaia is a Maori spiritual guardian, a guardian over land, sea and air, warding off danger and protecting from intruders.  Perfect to keep in your home or on your body.
