This genuine NZ Greenstone Heart Necklace measures approximately 4cm (1 1/2") long, and has two Koru incorporated into its design.
It's a stunning piece, nice and thick, and then two delicate Māori koru within. There's a ridge carved within the lower part of the heart, something simple, but it adds to the design, accentuates the heart shape.
The heart, Manawa in Māori, is a universal sign of love, of aroha.
This greenstone heart is made from pounamu from the area around Hokitika, on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
This pounamu heart hangs from a long black adjustable cord, so you can position it where you want on your chest.
