50th Birthday Milestone Māori Taiaha with Greenstone Tongue on Stand

They've reached the milestone 50th birthday, and you want to give them something special to mark the achievement.  And here it is!  The 50th birthday Māori Taiaha with Greenstone Tongue on Stand is absolutely stunning, just like they are.

With a beautiful piece of pounamu at one end of the taiaha, and surface carving at the other, they will feel really spoilt.

And the taiaha is paua engraved with the number 50 to mark the special occasion.

The timber used in the taiaha and matching stand is sustainably harvested Tulip Wood.  Tulip wood is a very strong hardwood but surprisingly light weight as well.

The greenstone is New Zealand pounamu from Hokitika.

The taiaha measures approximately 75.5cm (29 3/4") long, and the stand measures approximately 77cm x 9cm x 3cm (30 3/8" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/4").

It is a beautiful gift as it is, paua engraved with the number 50 on the taiaha.  But you can also have the stand engraved to add their name and more.

ENGRAVING:

• Up to 8 words are allowed on an engraved gold plaque on the front of the stand
• Up to 8 words are allowed if laser engraved into the front of the stand
• Up to 18 characters allowed for paua engraving into the front of the stand (CAPITALS only).
• Once engraved, the piece cannot be returned, aside from the unlikely event of us getting the engraving wording wrong. 
• Allow 3-4 days for engraving to be done.
