20cm Genuine NZ Greenstone Mere Ornament or Necklace

This 20cm (8") genuine NZ greenstone mere can be kept as an ornament, given as a trophy, or worn as a huge, spectacular necklace.  

The greenstone mere is made from pounamu from the Hokitika area, on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.  With these larger pieces of pounamu, its innate beauty gets to really show through.

The mere hangs from a thick plaited wrist cord.  Please remember that the cord is decorative, so please don't go throwing the mere around.  Hold the mere at the short end, with your hand through the strap. Greenstone, just like any stone, can shatter if dropped on a hard surface.  It is a taonga (treasure) and should be treated with utmost respect.

You can purchase the mere on its own, or on a stand if you want to use it as a trophy, or you can also purchase a neck cord as well, for wearing it around your neck.

Ideally, store it on a wooden stand and enjoy looking at the innate beauty of New Zealand Greenstone Jade (pounamu).

The stand can have a gold engraved plaque on the front - up to 5 words.  Please note that the stand cannot be returned if engraved, aside from the unlikely event that the engraving has been done wrong.  Allow 4 days for engraving to be done.  

An 18cm pounamu mere, just slightly smaller, is also available.
