You've probably seen those cheap paua shell stud earrings that are a piece of paua shell stuck to a metal backing. You put them in, you take them out, and eventually one day when you are taking them out of your ears, the paua falls off its backing plate. Well not these ones, as the paua is encased in silver metal.
The studs measure approximately 7mm wide. Perfect for wearing with lots of different outfits, and showing off the natural beauty of paua shell, where no two pieces are the same, but all showcase paua shell's natural irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple.
