Paua is our native abalone, found only in New Zealand waters. It has a beautiful shell with irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple. No two pieces are the same.
The Pohutukawa tree blossoms from November to January, with beautiful crimson flowers, hence we call it our native Christmas tree.
