The native New Zealand paua (abalone) shell contrasts beautifully with the etched rhodium plated silver base, also engraved with Koru. The necklace rests on a silver chain, and the earrings on hooks.
The necklace measures approximately 3.8cm (1 1/2") long, and the earrings are approximately 2.5cm (1") long.
Paua shell is New Zealand's native abalone, found only in NZ waters. Its shell contains irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple, and no two pieces are the same.
