The Maori Double Twist Necklace with Paua Tail is made from New Zealand cow bone and New Zealand Paua (abalone) shell. Paua is our unique native shellfish with a shell containing irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple. (Please note that to create the curved paua strip, it is made in two pieces).
This Maori Twist necklace measures approximately 5cm (2") long. It rests on a traditional black adjustable cord, and comes to you on a card detailing its spiritual meaning.
