Stunning Forest Green Maori Short Korowai

This Forest Green and White Maori Short Korowai is absolutely stunning.  It's a wonderful representation of our native forests, so it is perfect for those who love our forests, those who work in them, and those who identify with this beautiful natural colour.

The ceremonial kakahu is perfect for graduations or other ceremonies where it provides the look of a korowai without the full length.

This korowai, or kahu huruhuru to be exact, is made by a Maori lady of Ngati Porou descent. She creates them on a sewing machine, to make them affordable.

The korowai has a Forest Green, Black and White Taniko, with white feathers followed by forest green feathers.  The taniko has a patiki design, which spiritually means abundance, prosperity, and care of others.

This korowai measures approximately 1m wide, and 20cm (8") deep.  It is lined with black fabric.
