Maori Long Concert Pois

Here is a set of New Zealand Maori Concert Poi, just like the ones used at Maori cultural performances in New Zealand. 

Originally the poi was used by Maori warriors to keep their wrists supple in preparation for wielding weapons in battle. Much later, they were (and still are) used by women when performing action songs. Many of us, including myself, have grown up learning the poi at school.

These poi are made in New Zealand and are approximately 70cm (27 1/2") long, from edge of poi to beginning of tassel.
