Beautiful Heart Shaped Engraved Maori Rimu Box

This engraved Maori Rimu Jewellery or Keepsake Box is truly beautiful.

The top of the lid has a gorgeous Maori engraved design, with the design inspired by Maori tattoo and kowhaiwhai carvings.

The box is made from recycled native Rimu timber.  Rimu is a beautiful native timber with a honey coloured grain.  The timber is beautiful in its own right.

The heart shaped box measures approximately 95mm x 105mm x 41mm (3 3/4" x 4 1/8" x 1 5/8").  Being handmade, there will be minor variation in the size.  And being made from recycled rimu, you may see minor imperfections, which only add to the provenance of the piece.

It makes a lovely jewellery box or keepsake box, also perfect as a Valentines gift, or wedding or anniversary present.
