This genuine NZ greenstone heart necklace is really pretty, with koru surface carving down one side.
The pounamu heart measures approximately 6cm (2 3/8") long, and hangs from a long black adjustable cord, so the wearer can position it where they want on their chest.
The heart design is the universal sign of love, whereas the Koru is a traditional Maori design symbolising peace, tranquility, new beginnings, and positive change. So it makes a wonderful gift to show your love and support, particularly during trying times.
The necklace comes to you on a free descriptive card, or you can choose from 2 gifting options (see photos):

The look on my sister's face when she received her Ngakau Pounamu it was heart warming and my sister emotional feelings that was generating from her as I placed her Ngakau Pounamu around her neck, you could feel the love. Nice and light weight. String is skinny and waxed. Partner loves this, though he is not a necklace/jewellery wearing type. I love my heart taonga, though my string where you can adjust it making it bigger or smaller broke and the twisted bit close to heart is now a knot. I purchased these in recognition of Te Whanga nui a tara regionals, NPYMC. First time supporters and first pounamu taonga we own. Love them. And the delivery and communication was super fast.
