This beautiful Maori Bone Single Twist Pendant is further enhanced with an inner carved Koru and a long sliver of Paua shell. Those enhancements make it a really attractive pendant.
Maori designs carry a spiritual meaning as well. The Twist, or Pikorua, depicts two new shoots growing together. It represents the joining of cultures, the bonding of love or friendship for life. A wonderful gift between two friends or lovers, or between two families.
The Koru represents peace, tranquility, personal growth, positive change and awakening. It is a symbol of new life and harmony. Notice the carving on the Koru. Two powerful Maori symbols in one piece of jewelry, plus a pretty piece of New Zealand Paua shell.
The pendant measures approximately 1 3/4" (4.5cm) long and comes to you on a traditional waxed cord.

I like it but it has come completely off the chord twice
