This 6cm Genuine NZ Greenstone Maori Twist Necklace is made from a beautiful polished piece of pounamu.
There's a lovely balance in the shape of the twist, known to Maori as pikorua, double twist.
Maori designs carry spiritual meanings, and the meaning of a double twist is lovely. It is a symbol of eternal love or friendship, with the twist depicting two fern shoots growing together. It is designed with no beginning or end, a nod to the eternal nature of true love.
