Pretty Paua Tui Bird Stainless Steel Keychain

This Paua Tui Bird Stainless Steel Keychain is a really pretty souvenir of New Zealand.

It features one of our most favourite native forest birds, the Tui.  The Tui keeps mostly to native forest, but can also be seen in the home garden, especially those with gardens containing pohutukawa, kowhai or flax.  It is a bird with a huge repertoire of songs, from grunts and trills to mimicking the human voice!

The bird is embellished with native New Zealand paua shell, renowned for its beautiful irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple.  Paua is New Zealand's native abalone, found only in NZ waters.  A lovely crystal forms the tuft under his chin.
