The 2015 NZ Takahe Native Bird Fairy Doll has been brought back into the 2025 NZ Fairy range, and you can easily see why. Such a beautiful Fairy! Takahe Fairy is one of a series of New Zealand inspired Fairy Dolls and Elves, loved all around the world. The collection is added to each year.
The Takahe Fairy represents the South Island Takahe, a native swamp hen. They look very similar to a Pukeko, but are larger and chunkier, and cannot fly.
The Takahe doll is approximately 13cm (5 1/8") long and beautifully dressed and detailed. Her dress has the beautiful blues of the takahe feathers, whilst her legs are red like the takahe, and her hat is red like a takahe beak. Both her hat and dress sparkle with glitter and sequins.
All the Fairy Dolls have bendable arms and legs, making them fun to play with.
These Fairy Dolls and Elves make great Christmas Decorations, as each one has a fine gold hang cord, and they make great collectibles as well. Add to your fairy grotto.
