I know I sent an earlier email before leaving for Fiji on the 19 February, with a descriptive story why I chose this 'Maori Bone Double Twist Necklace with Carving and Paua Trim', well um...I believe it found me. I read this story to my Niece in-law after I presented to her, as welcoming gift into her Kiwi / New Zealand families, as she is Australian. This did have an emotional effect on many of the guest as I was approached by a few congratulating me and a couple saying that explanation was awesome and it bought a tear or two to their eyes, one said he actually cried. That was a huge compliment for me, I did apologies to him, he patted my on the back and said thank you again.

It is absolutely gorgeous! I am not Māori. I am Wendat (a Canadian First Nation), and I grew up in Australia, where I had a few Māori friends. Your culture has made a huge impression on me while I missed my culture and language. I wear these with great honour and respect. I love that a pamphlet explained the meaning of the two pieces I got!
