As if this sterling silver Maori Kete Bag Necklace wasn't beautiful enough, it's been further enhanced with a piece of pounamu inside the bag. Pounamu is New Zealand's native nephrite jade, also called Greenstone.
The pendant measures approximately 15mm x 21mm x 8mm(5/8" x 3/4" x 1/4" ) and hangs from a silver plated chain.
An absolutely fabulous creation that shows off the art of Maori weaving as well as our taonga, our treasured greenstone. The greenstone comes from the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
