This Set of Māori Poi with Blue White and Black Patterned Cover Fabric is a durable and good looking set.
The outer fabric features a Māori pattern in Cobalt Blue, Black and White, with the same colours in the plaited handles.
The pattern is called Kotahitanga, which represents unison - the binding together of people from all life paths to come together and be one. This unique pattern was designed by NZ Māori artist Sharmz Waiomio. Her work showcases te ao Māori through digital drawing. Sharmz is a descendent of Te Arawa, Nga Puhi, Ngati Kahungungu, and Ngati Tuwharetoa.
The handles measure approximately 50cm (19 3/4") long.
