This NZ Made Maori Waka Hoe Paddle on Stand is a fabulous trophy or ornament. Perfect as a birthday gift, especially the 21st, as well as a business or corporate gift.
The Hoe and Stand are made from sustainably harvested Tulip Wood, a hardwood that is surprisingly lightweight.
Especially good for recognising the achievements of leaders - the ones who lead the paddlers, steer them in the right direction.
The paddle measures approximately 56cm (22") long, and the stand measures approximately 39.5cm (15 1/2") long.
The paddle has koru surface carving on the front, and the stand has surface carving on the top and on the front and back. The back of the paddle (not including the handle) is flat.
A beautiful gift on its own, or we can engrave it as well. Choose from an engraved plaque on the front of the stand, or laser engraving into the wood, or paua engraving. Choose up to 5 words for the plaque or laser engraving, or up to 18 characters for paua engraving (preferably in CAPITALS). The paddle can also be laser or paua engraved on the back of the paddle blade.
Please note that engraved items cannot be returned. Allow 2-3 days for the engraving to be done.
