Large Maori Fish Hook Trophy

This large Maori Fish Hook Trophy is a beautiful piece of carving made right here in New Zealand.

This beautiful hook is carved on both sides, with more detailed carving on the front. With carving on the front and back, though, it looks good from any angle.

Carved from sustainable hardwood Tulip Wood, it is embellished with paua shell eyes.

The Maori Fish Hook is symbolic of strength, good luck, and safe travel over water.

Total height: approx 42cm (16 1/2").

Size of base: approx 19.8cm x 14.3cm x 6cm (7 3/4" x 5 5/8" x 2 3/8").

There is plenty of room to attach a gold engraved plaque, so if you want the trophy engraved, there is the option there. Allow 2-3 days for engraving. Enter up to 6 engraving words in the box provided when you click on that option.  You can also have the stand laser engraved, or have paua engraving.  Paua engraving is limited to 18 characters, and CAPITALS only.
