This gorgeous Trinket Dish, with its pretty Kiwi Bird design, is designed by Northland Tattoo Artist Katy Hayward.
I've known Katy for many years, as she went to Ngunguru School with my daughter. And I have delightedly watched her growth as an amazing tattoo artist, predominantly decorating her customers' skin with the most finely detailed, intricate tattoos of New Zealand's wonderful wildlife.
Now she has turned her skills to decorating bone china pottery, making her art available to so many more people. And I am honoured to be able to make it available to people all around the world.
This lovely trinket dish, with a design called "Walking with Aroha", features a brown kiwi bird taking a stroll through beautiful Aotearoa native bush. Kiwi sports a lovely Mānuka flower crown, and is joined with native New zealand butterflies.
