These genuine NZ Greenstone Toki Earrings are a beautiful rendition of a symbol Māori associate with wisdom and authority.
The earrings are carved in the shape of an adze (toki). The Toki was an important Māori implement, used to chip and shave wood and stone. In bone or greenstone jewellery, it was traditionally worn by Maori elders, as it represented power, wisdom and authority.
These days it is the perfect gift to give to someone you admire and look up to.
The greenstone (pounamu) comes from the area around Hokitika, on New Zealand's South Island.
The earrings measure approximately 33mm (1 1/2") long.
Shipped worldwide from New Zealand.
