This NZ waxed cord with sliding knots is perfect for those necklaces that have a large hole for the cord or those where the cord can be looped through the carving, like manaia or koru greenstone or bone necklaces.
With the sliding knots, the necklace can go over your head easily and the cord can be adjusted so the necklace sits in just the right spot.
We have instructions on how to tie a sliding knot here , but if that is too much bother just buy one of these.

The cord is too long there should be other sizes you can choose from for kids. The cord is too thin and the knots keep loosening and making the necklace long which I don’t like for my children as it’s a choking hazard. That’s the only thing from this whole shop I dislike, everything else is perfect!!
