Luxury New Zealand Wool Underlay Mattress Pad Luxury New Zealand Wool Underlay Mattress Pad

New Zealand Luxury Wool Underlays ( mattress pads) are the ultimate comfort for a good night's sleep in your bed. A fluffy layer ( over 1 inch!) of pure New Zealand wool covers the top of your bed, backed by a hard wearing, flexible polyester knit surround skirt ( or choose elastic corners). The pure wool is knitted into the backing, then the backing is coated to lock in the wool and to avoid slipping on the mattress.

Wool underlays help relieve pressure points or aching arthritic joints, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The wool fibers are springy and naturally soft. The depth of the fleece allows air to circulate around your body, keeping you comfortably warm and dry. The wool wicks away any perspiration. And wool's natural insulation ability means the wool traps your body heat, helping you maintain your body temperature without loss of heat through the bedding.

New Zealand Luxury Wool Underlays are available in all regular bed sizes from around the world. Each square foot of underlay is crammed with wool pile, so be assured there is no skimping on quality. There is 900gms of wool in every square metre (3.28 sq. ft.) of underlay. Wool fibre pile length is approximately 28mm.

As usual, backed by our 365-day money back guarantee of quality.

The wool underlays are fully machine washable. Here are the instructions:
Fully machine washable. Wash in lukewarm water (max 400C) using a mild liquid detergent. Wool cycle, rinse well, normal spin, dry in shade or tumble dry. Do NOT bleach. Dry-cleanable. Note: as this is a knitted fabric expect some wool fibre to shed during washing.

Here's what customers say about the mattress underlays:
"Dear Lesley, We received the sheepskin mattress underlay and slept on for the first time last night. I have fibromyalgia and for the first time in a very long time woke up pain-free. It was like sleeping on a cloud. All pressure points on my body were cushioned. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the underlay; our dog inherited our old one. We loved the Christmas decorations, they were meant as a gift. It was very thoughtful to include the carved dish rest.
All-in-all we were quite pleased with the quality, value, and service provided by you and ShopNZ. We will continue to visit your website whenever we are in need of gifts or a treat for ourselves".
Peggy Smith, USA, 31 December 2006

And here's what I say!
In 2010 I purchased one of these wool underlays for my own bed. When I pulled it out of the bag I thought it looked nice but I couldn't see how it could make much of a difference to my arthritic body. I couldn't have been more wrong! The heel pain that woke me up during the night has completely gone. The sheepskin cushions my heels. And of course it cushions the rest of my body as well. I'm also nice and warm throughout the night, which means I wake up feeling more limber and comfortable. Definitely worth it!
