This NZ Maori Roimata Koru Wooden Sculpture or Trophy is a lovely piece to give, and for many reasons.
The cutout Koru is symbolic of peace, tranquility, new beginnings and personal change.
The Roimata (tear drop shape) is a symbol of comfort, showing love and empathy for someone going through a challenging time. Traditionally the Roimata was given at a time of loss, to show sympathy and reassurance. With the cutout Koru, it becomes a symbol to recognise challenging times and give encouragement for the future.
The Roimata Koru Sculpture is made from Rimu, and proudly made in New Zealand. It measures approximately 160mm x 105mm (6 3/8" x 4").
There are also two larger versions available.
Size Large measures approximately 200mm x 145mm (8" x 5 3/4").
Size XL measures approximately 300mm x 145mm (12" x 5 3/4").
If you want, the base can take an engraved plaque. Choose the engraved option if you would like this done, and enter up to 5 words you would like engraved, in the Options box above. Please note that engraved trophies cannot be returned, except in the unlikely event of us getting the engraving wrong.
