We can now ship worldwide and within NZ. Please allow extra time for shipping. Within New Zealand, courier deliveries are taking longer, due to fewer people on the ground, and huge demand for online shopping. Some couriers are struggling to keep up.
With regards to international, allow 2-3 weeks extra in transit times for airmail shipments, and a week for courier shipments. Again, due to fewer people able to work and fewer planes flying. This is something we will all have to live with.
Stay safe and well, and spread kindness.
The NZ government has announced a change from Covid-19 Level 4 to Level 3 starting April 27th, which is a public holiday in New Zealand. This means our staff are able to come back to work on Tuesday 28th. We can provide contactless delivery, will not be allowing the public into our store/warehouse in Ngunguru, will maintain appropriate distance between staff, and do thorough surface cleaning. So staff will be back to work from the 28th, to help me with packing and shipping. For those of you waiting for engraving or for stock we were not able to supply to date, please allow time next week for businesses to get back to work and get production and shipping started again. Your continuing patience with us is very much appreciated.
Please understand that there are now fewer planes in the skies and fewer people on the ground to do their part of the shipping process, so shipping times around the world are taking much longer than normal. Shipping times in New Zealand will also be longer. This is something beyond our control, and again, we ask you to be patient and wait. Everyone is doing the best they can.
The shipping situation continues to be updated on almost a daily basis, but for now, we can still ship internationally.
If you are having your parcel shipped by Airmail, which is not tracked, expect a longer shipping time, something we unfortunately cannot control. But do hunker down, be patient, it will arrive in due course, and the wait will be worth it.
For our customers wanting delivery within New Zealand, our sheepskin slipper maker is allowed to start up production again, so that is good news for all of you needing warm footwear. Food, skincare, winter clothing and blankets are all considered essential items that can be shipped.
I continue to keep my staff at home, all surfaces and incoming parcels regularly disinfected, and we do contactless delivery by courier. Since I live on the premises, this is a work from home situation.
Please bear in mind that running a business with a staff of one (me) means shipping and email response times are slower. Your best contact option is to phone (09-4344659).
Please stay safe, stay home.
